Jason Hart is a seasoned technology leader with over 30 years of industry experience, including 25+ years heading security companies. He founded Safetrust in 2018, specializing in secure identity solutions. Previously, he co-founded idOnDemand, a pioneer in cloud-based smart card identity solutions, acquired by Identiv in 2011. Before that, Hart served as CEO of ActivIdentity, a leader in identity assurance and strong authentication, acquired by HID Global in 2010. He joined ActivIdentity after the acquisition of Protocom, an identity management software company he founded. Recognized as the 2002 Ernst and Young Australian Young Entrepreneur, Hart holds multiple U.S. and international patents.
Chris Gulati currents leads the business organization for Digital Ids and Access at Samsung Electronics America located in Mountain View, California. He previously also led the global product organization in payments for Samsung Pay and led the commercialization in over 21 countries. His journey also includes running product at PayPal on their consumer platform and Motorola Solution in developing secure mobile devices for Public Safety private networks.
Saam is a Managing Director in the Security and Fund Finance Groups at Capital One. Since joining Capital One in 2012, Saam has been involved in all aspects of origination, structuring, underwriting and portfolio management of financing transactions involving a broad spectrum of security companies. The Security Finance group provides financing solutions to the security alarm monitoring, video surveillance, access control, system integrator, fire and life safety sectors. Prior to joining Capital One, Saam held roles at KPMG Corporate Finance and Pacific Media Capital, a joint-venture of DB Zwirn. Saam received a BA from the University of Maryland, an MS from The Johns Hopkins University, and an MBA from Cornell University.
As a senior analyst and veteran of the security industry, with 7 years manufacturing side, Scott covers a wide range including security trends and market developments. Specializing in video surveillance, analytics, and the Americas business areas. Based in Boston MA, Scott joined the company in August 2022 and is involved in a range of research and custom projects. Prior to Omdia Scott held positions within Axis Communications in strategy and market intelligence focusing on the Americas markets, and is a certified Competitive Intelligence Professional II. Scott holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of York, UK.
Mr. Robuck is Managing Director and Head of the Security Finance lending practice within Capital One’s Commercial Bank. In this role, Mr. Robuck leads a team in the origination, underwriting and structuring of senior financings for middle-market security businesses. Specific sectors of focus include alarm monitoring, public safety, government contracting, defense/homeland security, and systems integration businesses. Mr. Robuck has more than 20 years of leverage investment experience and more than 18 years of specific security industry experience.
